Amazon Kindle Store UK Launched; Kindle 3 Now Shipping September 8   no comments

Amazon has launched its UK Kindle Storewith over 400,000 books and over 170 UK and international newspapers and magazines available for single copy purchase or subscription.  Kindle owners in the UK can also subscribe to over 9,000 blogs which are delivered wirelessly to their ereader.  Amazon will be setting prices of books in its UK store – there is no agency model in effect there.

Meanwhile, the Kindle 3 ereaders have sold out again and the shipping date has been pushed back to September 8, 2010.
