Just some brief notes on what’s happening with ereaders and tablets this Memorial Day weekend.
The 2.5 update for the Kindle has apparently been delayed. It appears that Amazon is tweaking the update based on beta feedback. This according to the Kindle help pages.

Engadget has a pretty favorable review of the ExoPC Slate tablet after spending some time with the device at Computex. The ExoPC is a Windows 7 based tablet. It has been problematic getting Windows 7 to work well on tablets – HP just canceled their Windows 7 tablet project. The ExoPC should be available by September, 2010 with a starting price of $599.
