Engadget has a pretty favorable review of the ExoPC Slate tablet after spending some time with the device at Computex.  The ExoPC is a Windows 7 based tablet.  It has been problematic getting Windows 7 to work well on tablets – HP just canceled their Windows 7 tablet project.  The ExoPC should be available by September, 2010 with a starting price of $599.  The video below is from Engadget.

Oberon Design iPad Cover Coming Soon   no comments

I’ve been wondering when Oberon Design would be extending their line of Oberon-Design-Kindle-Cover hand-tooled leather covers to the iPad.  Today I received an email from Amy at Oberon telling me that the new line of covers are at the photography studio getting their pictures taken and it should only be a matter of days until iPad covers are available for order at the Oberon Design Web site

The photo is of one of Oberon’s Kindle covers to give you an idea of what to expect.
