JetBook and JetBook Lite Get Adobe Digital Editions no comments
Ectaco has announced that the JetBook and JetBook Lite are now compatible with Adobe Digital Editions. This will make a lot of additional content from sources such as Kobo, Barnes & Noble and other online sellers available to Ectaco’s ereaders.
The JetBooks also get support for four new languages: Arabic, Farsi, Vietnamese and Hebrew.
The Jetbook Lite is now selling for $120 at Newegg.comwhile the Jetbook is selling for $150.

eReaders on Sale
This week there are only a couple of ereaders at sale prices to report. The first is the Ectaco Jetbook Lite at Newegg.comwhich is $119.99 with free shipping.
The Ectaco Jetbook Lite features a 5-inch non-backlit LCD screen. It is unique in that it uses 4 AA disposable batteries rather than a hardwired rechargeable battery. This would make it good for camping trips, etc. where you won’t be able to access electricity to recharge.
As you can see in the top edge-on photo above, the bulge of the battery compartment does destroy the thin profile which is usually typical of ereaders; on the other hand it gives a kind of finger grip that provides a comfortable way of holding the ereader in your left hand.
The Jetbook Lite supports Barnes & Noble ebooks for your DRM’ed ereading pleasure.
Fry’s has the Astak EZ Reader with a 2GB SD card & 108 free public domain ebooks for $199.
