HP discontinues TouchPad no comments
HP yesterday said that it will be discontinuing its TouchPad tablet. The TouchPad only ever managed to generate lukewarm reviews at best. According to HP the TouchPad has “not met internal milestones and financial targets.” Indeed, Best Buy is reportedly sitting on a warehouse full of unsold TouchPads that it would like HP to please take back.
This is, of course, bad news for those who have bought HP’s not-so-magical device after its introduction less than two months ago. If the purchase was recent enough to still be returnable that would probably be an excellent course of action.
