Barnes & Noble Nook upgrade program no comments
Barnes & Noble has announced a new promotion to get existing ereader owners to ‘upgrade’ to one of the Nook ereaders. Starting July1, customers who bring any ereader ( the fine print says that this does not include “general purpose tablet computers”) into a B&N store and show it to the sales staff and then buy one of the Nook ereaders will receive a 2GB microSD card loaded with a collection of 30 ebooks. The offer is good while supplies last.
Some, but not all of the ebooks included in the offer are from the public domain — Tiger’s Curse is one of the non-PD titles that is included. You can find a complete list of the ebooks included in the offer here.
