LG Delays Tablet no comments
LG has announced previously that it would be introducing an Android-based tablet this year. Bloomberg reports being told by an LG official that the tablet will probably not be introduced until the beginning of next year, possibly at CES in January.
According to this report, the hardware is ready now but the software is still being worked on. I’m guessing this has to do with the fact that current versions of Android are not optimized for tablets, at least according to Google. Perhaps LG is joining the ranks of developers and consumers hoping that the next Android iteration will be, enabling access to the Android Market at least.
