E Ink Holdings Revenue Grows in September no comments

Digital Times reports that E Ink Holdings, makers of the e-ink screens in most ereaders, reported an increase in revenue for September, 2010. E Ink’s revenue for September was NT$2.12 billion (US$68.97). For the third quarter E Ink saw revenues of NT$5.3 billion; a 2 percent increase over the second quarter, and a 39.08 percent increase year over year. Even though shipments of e-ink displays increased, revenue failed to meet analyst’s expectations. This was in large part due to the reduced prices of e-ink panels.
