Just catching up on a few short items:
About three weeks ago The Sharper Image Literati ereader was announced. The new ebook reader made an appearance at the Pepcom Holiday Spectacular in Manhattan yesterday and PC Magazine got a hands-on.

Intel launched its AppUp app store at IDF 2010 in San Francisco. This is an app store with content designed for netbooks. Consumers can install the AppUp client on multiple devices where it will keep track of their app purchases and allow installation of purchased apps on multiple devices. One interesting app that will be included in the store is the Barnes & Noble NOOK ereading app.
HTC Sense mobile phones will be including an ereading application and a “powered by Kobo” ebookstore. The ebookstore will be available globally. The first phone to come with the Kobo shopping experience will be the HD Desire HD.

Amazon has apparently caught up with the Kindle 3 orders — Both the Wi-Fi only and the Wi-Fi + 3G models are now in stock.
