Indigo Books to Fill Empty Book Shelves with Trinkets no comments

The Canadian Press is reporting that Indigo Books and Music will be adding more non-book related merchandise as the retailer adapts to increasing sales of digital books.
"As we sell more digital books online, we free up space in our physical stores," CEO Heather Reisman said Tuesday after the company’s annual general meeting in Toronto.
"We will add new categories that totally fit with our role as the place for entertainment, inspiration, information, lifestyle and community connection."
Indigo is the major investor behind Kobo.
