The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Texas attorney general is making inquiries into the ebook market. Both Hachette and Harper Collins say they have been contacted by the AG’s office, but it is not known exactly what areas are being investigated.

The New York Times is reporting that Larry McMurtry has agreed to make his books available as ebooks. McMurtry has written numerous books including Lonesome Dove and The Last Picture Show. The Kindle Store lists almost 50 ebooks by McMurtry,while Barnes and Noble and Kobo
both list about 40 titles.
