Irex DR800SG Ereader Now Shipping From Best Buy   2 comments

The DR800SG is finally making its appearance about 3 1/2 months laterIrex eReader on Bookshelf than originally announced, but better late than never.

Best Buy.com is now showing the Irex DR800SG ereader as shipping within  one to two days if ordered from their website.  The price is $399 plus tax and $6.99 for standard shipping.  Store pickup is not available at this time.  The package includes a USB charger and cable, sleeve, stylus and manual.

  1. Does anyone know whether you can at least look at these at Best Buy? Is it subject to the Best Buy 15% restocking fee if we return it because we don’t like it?

  2. The DR800SG is only available online for now. Unless Best Buy has changed their return policy there is no restocking fee. The last time I made a return was 3 – 4 months ago and I just lost the shipping charges. Update: Just got a chance to double check the BB return policy. There are restocking fees for some items, but ereaders are not mentioned. I didn’t want to keep my Sony Touch and returned it with no restocking fees.
