Kindle Gets Free Expedited Shipping for Christmas no comments
Amazon announced today that Kindle ereaders ordered by December 22 for delivery in the continental United States will get free two-day expedited shipping to ensure delivery by Christmas.
Amazon also says that December is already the best sales month ever for the Kindle. This after November set the previous Kindle sales record.
The sold out status of Barnes & Noble’s nook ereader, not to mention the nook’s less than stellar reviews have no doubt contributed to Kindle sales.
Amazon says that “Kindle is the #1 bestselling, most wished for, and most gifted product across all of Amazon”, and that the Kindle store now has “over 390,000 books and more than 100 top newspapers and magazines from around the world”.
